Local Choir Meeting with Greek Songs in the Kefalos Theatre of Argostoli

Do you like choral music? Do you like Greek songs? Do you like local culture? Then the event on Monday 26th of May is the right one for you. There will be a choir meeting at the Kefalos Theatre in Argostoli. Four local choirs from Kefalonia and Ithaca will be singing Greek songs. The occasion is the 161st anniversary of the union of the Ionian Islands with the Greek state. The evening will also include al speech (in Greek) by music professor Lamprogiannis Pefanis, who will shed light on the cultural and national significance of this union. The concert begins at 20:30. Admission free.
